Our Commitment to Sustainability

Solid wood for what really matters—and that includes where our wood comes from and how we handle it.
For us, quality and sustainability are not a contradiction. They go hand in hand.

We think long-term because our products are designed to last.

Sourcing Exclusively in Europe

We source our raw materials and intermediate products exclusively from Europe - deliberately avoiding Asia or other distant markets. For us, short, traceable supply chains mean reliable quality, known origin, and the ability to provide information about our wood at any time.

For us, this is not a question of price, but of responsibility.
And it aligns with customers who expect the same level of care for their own products.

Our Certifications

Our FSC® and PEFC certifications demonstrate what is important to us when it comes to sourcing and responsible procurement.

Energy from Our Own Resources

or us, sustainability doesn’t stop with wood. At our Brakel-Bökendorf facility, we rely on our own photovoltaic system to generate electricity and use our sawmill byproducts to generate heat.

This is how we close the loop at our own facility: Any material left over from production is reused as energy for the operation - instead of ending up as waste.

Thinking Long-Term Instead of Acting in the Short Term

We are constantly evolving and think long-term - it’s part of our DNA.

For us, sustainability means more than just the origin of materials and energy production. It’s also reflected in how we manage resources, collaborate with partners, and take responsibility for the future of our industry.

Products of lasting value don’t happen by chance. They arise from a mindset that looks ahead.
